DUAL SIDED PRINTING

With this feature you can save time and resources by printing both card sides in a single run. This is ideal for high-volume ID projects, and those projects that need printing on the backside of cards. While single-sided printers require the user to manually flip and reload cards to print both sides, dual-sided printers can print on both card’s sides in one quick and easy pass.

HOLOGRAM

To improve security and ensure high durability for your ID cards, you can apply Datacard® DuraGard® Holographic Laminate, which features an embedded custom hologram that helps defend against alteration and tampering. Holograms, which are composed of two superimposed two-dimensional pictures of the same object seen from different reference points, provide excellent overt security for identity documents. They can be seen by the naked eye, but they cannot be reproduced by conventional printing processes or color copiers.

REWRITE

With this feature, the same card can be erased and rewritten more than 500 times. Reusable cards are issued to new cardholders every time they are rewritten, such as visitor IDs or at loyalty points. This technology is ideal for applications that involve information that is time sensitive or changes frequently.

EMBOSSING

Desktop embossing provides personalization for ATM, debit and credit cards for issuing new financial cards on demand. Embossing can be done by itself or used in conjunction with a desktop card printer to add full color graphics to a card.

UV PRINTING

With this option you can enhance the protection and color of your card solution is UV security printing. Add fluorescent images or texts in a specific color of your choice to enable easy verification and additional security to your card.

TACTILE IMPRESSION

The feature creates an impression on the card substrate that you can see and feel. The tactile impression process uses a unique die to create the impression, which differs from the embossing or indenting technology available today. When used with a patch laminate, it helps make the card tamper evident and provides a higher level of security.
